Every dog in Ramsgate has a story. Their person knows it. Ramsgate Tails is here to hear it.
Each tail is a photograph and a few words from the one who knows the dog best. That is all it needs to be. A dog is not a small thing. It walks the harbour arm and the clifftops and the beach. It has loyalties and characters and a life that is entirely its own.
The tails are being gathered now.

Ramsgate Tails began in the summer of 2026. It is a companion to Ramsgate Tales, the oral history archive of the people of Ramsgate.
The project starts with dogs. It is open to wherever the creatures of Ramsgate lead.
